YLE, the Cambridge English: Young Learners is a series of fun, motivating English language tests, aimed at children in primary and lower-secondary education. There are three activity-based tests – Starters, Movers and Flyers. This gives students a clear path to improve in English. Our students are trained and guided to take up these examinations
This year about 102 students appeared for PET (Preliminary English Test) a Cambridge English assessment equivalent to level B1 of CEFR. Our children had a good time listening to native speakers while working on exercises. Young children are incredibly fast learners and they quickly grasp the language skills that will help them in their daily usage. They took the speaking test evaluated by UK trained evaluators on 28th Nov, 2014 and their performance was appreciated. They enjoyed doing their reading, writing and listening paper. 6th Dec was a remarkable day of achievement for the young learners.
19 students of Class IX took up FCE (FIRST CERTIFICATE IN ENGLISH) equivalent to level B2 of the CEFR an exam recognized by many colleges and schools around the world conducted by Cambridge University.
